A Hamilton County week is usually a mix. Some hours in the home helping with routines and personal care, then a couple of trips out. Because the county is dense, community time here is genuinely easy to fill, which matters more than people expect when you are supporting somebody who gets restless indoors.
Getting around. I-75, I-71 and I-275 mean almost everywhere in the county is reachable, but the Norwood Lateral and Columbia Parkway at rush hour are a different story. Tell us the neighborhoods that actually work for you and we will hold you to that, not talk you out of it.

A good part of this job is getting somebody out of the house and into their own community. Knowing the area is a real advantage, and if you already know these places you are ahead before you start. In Hamilton County that regularly means:

Referrals here come to us through Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services and the statewide system. We do not control when a case appears. What we do control is whether we already have somebody local, cleared and ready when it does, which is the entire reason this page exists.

Requirements
- DODD eight hour orientation certificate, or willingness to complete it
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Social Security card, for I-9 verification
- Experience as a DSP, STNA, HHA, caregiver, home health aide or personal care aide is welcome. We also train the right person
