Three different people land on this page, and each of them needs something different from us.
You are looking for support for yourself or someone you love. We explain how waiver services work in plain language, what the acronyms mean, and what to ask any agency before you choose one.
Start with our family guideYou need a clear yes or no, quickly, with an honest read on whether we can staff the placement. No chasing, no vague maybes while a referral sits open.

You choose the staff and set the schedule. Who holds the employer role depends on your waiver, and we will walk you through the difference.

Rides to appointments, work, activities and family, coordinated with the same personal care support rather than handed off to a stranger.
DetailsWe are also certified for Community Transition, which reimburses one-time household start-up costs for someone moving out of a facility onto an Individual Options waiver. What that covers
We are a newer agency, and we are honest about what that means. We do not carry a large bench of idle staff. What we do carry is a short line between you and the person who makes the decision.
What you can expect from us: a response within one business day, a clear yes or no rather than a placeholder, and a direct explanation if we cannot staff something so the referral is not sitting idle while you wait on us.
An SSA sends the referral through LiveCare Marketplace, or a family reaches out and we point them to their county board first.
Within one business day you get a decision and any questions we need answered about schedule, hours and staff preferences.
We look for a direct support professional who fits the person, the location and the hours. We tell you honestly how that search is going.
Documentation, training and introductions are completed before the first shift, so day one is calm rather than improvised.
Services are billed to the waiver or funding source attached to the individual service plan. Families do not pay Nirvana directly for authorized waiver services.
Not sure which one applies? Your Support Service Administrator at the county board can confirm the waiver type and what it authorizes.
Find your county board
Our staff are concentrated in and around the Cincinnati and Dayton region, which is where we can usually respond fastest.
Most of our team lives and works across Southwest Ohio, so this is where we can typically move quickest on a new referral and where we know the county boards, the SSAs and the local resources best.
Our certification reaches further across the state than our day to day service area does, and we would rather hear from you than have you assume the answer is no. Tell us where you are and we will give you a straight answer either way.
Ask about your area
Direct Support Professionals are the whole agency. If you are certified, or willing to get certified, we would like to talk with you.
Whether you are sending a referral, looking for support for a family member, or applying to join our team, you will hear back from a person.
